As the heat spell continues to hold the metro area in its thrall, local aid groups are working hard to keep some of the most at-risk Portlanders safe.
Feed the Streets, part of two-year-old nonprofit organization Our Streets PDX, prepares hundreds of meals every day + distributes them to people facing housing and food insecurity throughout the community. One day this week, the group took 122 meals to local camps.
If you want to help out, Our Streets shared a list of ways to get involved this week.
